2nd Dr Appointment

On January 21, 2013 we went for our 2nd appointment. This time we were going to get to meet our doctor and just have a routine check up. When we got there they were waiting on her to get back from delivering a baby. Once she got back, she had to go deliver another! It was a busy day in the baby business. We had to wait about an hour, but we finally got to meet her. She seems great.
After the appointment, we went to Springfield to eat lunch with our friends Chris and Kaylyn. We also got to meet their sweet new baby, Ryston. He was so good and slept in his seat the whole time we were eating and chatting. Sure wish they lived closer to us!

Catch-Up (Weeks 5-14)

5 weeks- Couldn't tell I was pregnant, except I was really tired. Daniel had been begging me to go hunting with him. When we finally had a nice day...I went. This was Daniel's kill of the day...(its a coyote, and it is dead, but he sure thinks he's funny!)  :)

6 weeks- Felt great up to this point! Got sick for the first time.

7 weeks- Definitly have morning sickness! Have to eat hard candy all day to keep from being sick/nauseus. Had our pictures taken by Elise to send out on our Christmas cards.

9 weeks- This weekend I was so sick BOTH days, all day. Have figured out I can't cook Daniel breakfast in the mornings. If I cook sausage and smell it, I get sick instantly. And, I pee ALL the time. Baby G is definitly Daniel's child...I feel good if I am up and moving, but if I lay around and be lazy I'm sick. Daniel can't lay around...

10 weeks- Matt & Jackie both asked me if I was pregnant (I lied). Austin has been staying with us all week and the boys have been duck hunting fools. They get up at 5 and hunt at night, too. Austin got mad at me one day and asked what was wrong with me because I had been going to sleep early and napping all day. He even walked into my bedroom and told me to get out of bed and quit being lazy! (Once he found out, he felt bad!)

Daniel shot a double banded duck! He was really excited because he hasn't ever shot one before and this one was worth 50 bucks! It flew from South Dakota to Missouri...

11 weeks- Thank god for Christmas break! Much needed! Finally told our families...everyone is so excited! Went to Dad's on New Years Eve....I went to bed at 10.

12 weeks- Morning sickness is finally slowing down! Only got sick once this week. Craving pizza, breadsticks and anything with cheese sauce.

13 weeks- I started my first night of Master's classes. I keep reminding Daniel that in August he will have a newborn that he has to take care of on Wednesday nights by himself---he insists that I will be taking baby G to my moms! Ha!

14 weeks- Hello 2nd trimester! We had a busy weekend. Saturday Rosanna turned 30 & we celebrated at Roger and Lisa's. Ate dinner and shot pistols. On Sunday we went to Pizza Hut for Maggie's 89th birthday. I ate almost a WHOLE pizza by myself. It was SO good! I bet baby G loves pizza.
